Rosenberg To Introduce New Energy-Efficient E-Series Backward Curved Impellers At AHR 2015

Rosenberg's new E-Series impellers have the same external dimensions as existing impellers and a similar airflow/pressure mix, but system energy efficiency is increased by 4% while the noise level is lowered by 3 to 5 dB(A) depending on system airflow and static pressure. They will be on display at AHR 2015 in Chicago January 26 through 28.

New Rosenberg E-Series backward curved fans offer increased efficiency and reduced noise.

Energy efficiency is increased by 4% while the noise level is lowered by 3 to 5 dB(A).

The "E" is for ENERGY EFFICIENT. Rosenberg's new E-Series impeller design produces significant increases in energy efficiency and major reductions in operating noise levels. It features AIRFOIL design blades for high-flow and low to medium pressure applications like computer room air conditioning and air handling (CRAC/CRAH), energy recovery ventilation (ERV), energy recovery units (ERUs), box- and roof-fans.

E-Series fans are available with EC (electronically commutated) and AC external rotor motors and meet ErP 2015 energy efficiency requirements with all available motor combinations.

AC external rotor motors are 100 percent speed controllable. Thermal contacts provide standard motor protection. All are CE, UL and RoHS approved. Different input voltages are available.

Rosenberg’s extended-life, low-temperature brushless DC motors are controlled by maintenance-free electronic circuitry. Because of reduced mechanical content, EC fan motors run cooler and quieter.

In addition to standard products, Rosenberg’s engineering and manufacturing specialists also offer application assistance and work directly with customers to provide customized air movement solutions.
