Chime for Sametime improves IT service management operations and service levels using IBM Sametime. With Chime installed, help desk users can contact agents through the IM-enabled web chat client. User messages sent through the web client are transferred to the agent’s Sametime client. Chime also allows for escalation to voice, video, and screen-sharing capabilities.
