Horizon DataSys, the premier developer of the world’s leading instant recovery software for PC’s, is pleased to announce two of its flagship programs, RollBack Rx and Drive Vaccine, have both won the 2014 Tech & Learning Awards of Excellence.

In addition to this award RollBack Rx, the PC time machine, has also been nominated for a prestigious SIIA CODiE Award under the Best Security category, with the winner expected to be announced by May, 2015.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by our fellow peers in the software industry, especially given the tough competition out there in the education and PC security markets,” said Lyle Patel, CEO and president of Horizon DataSys. “It just goes to show how powerful our software is, how well-received it is by the community at large, and how important it is to protect your PC’s with RollBack Rx and Drive Vaccine.” Drive Vaccine is well known as the alternative to Microsoft Steadystate software.

For more than 30 years Tech & Learning has served the K-12 education community with practical resources and expert strategies for transforming education through integration of digital technologies.

"Once again this year our judges had the pleasurable duty to evaluate more than 150 edtech products," says Tech & Learning Content Director Kevin Hogan. "Each is put through the proverbial wringer: How well does it work in the classroom environment? How easy is it for students and teacher to use? And, most importantly, how effective is it in improving learning? Not a simple task. Congratulations to all of the winners."

The SIIA CODiE Awards are respected throughout the software industry and to have RollBack Rx be nominated is a testament to the strength of the program and its impact on PC Security and data protection.
