This December, U.S. Security Associates (USA) is carrying on a favorite tradition: a holiday toy drive benefiting the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots program. Employees at the security company headquarters in Roswell, Georgia are organizing a massive donation of toys, books, and games to help brighten Christmas morning for disadvantaged children.

This marks the fifth consecutive year USA has collected Toys for Tots donations, and the momentum keeps on building. Each holiday season, USA employees have been enthusiastically determined to outdo the year before. Today, the collection boxes are once again overflowing with popular toys and classic games.

“As a national security company, we have over 46,000 employees working as teams to make a difference in communities nationwide. With Toys for Tots, the employees in our corporate office rally that USA team spirit around one special cause, and everyone is excited to pitch in,” says Denise Cash, Junior Treasurer and organizer of USA’s Toys for Tots drive. “We know our individual contributions are collectively making a huge impact on children in our community.”

USA’s involvement in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program is an extension of the company’s support of a host of military and veteran causes. In addition to Toys for Tots, USA contributes to groups like AMVETS, National Guard and Reserve, Paralyzed Veterans of America, Veterans Assistance Commission, and Vietnam Veterans Society. The company is pledged to support the 100,000 Jobs Mission and is ranked among the top Military Friendly Employers® and the Top 50 Military Friendly Spouse Employers® by G.I. Jobs magazine.

The success of the Toys for Tots program is made possible by local volunteers, countless donors like the employees of U.S. Security Associates, and the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Together, their tireless efforts, dedication, and generosity put smiles on the faces of thousands of children every Christmas morning.

ABOUT TOYS FOR TOTS
Toys for Tots is a national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve that has helped provide happiness and hope to disadvantaged children at Christmas for 65 years. From October to December every year, members of the Marine Forces Reserve, the Marine Corps League of veterans, and local community organizations collect toys, books and other gifts for less fortunate children in more than 700 communities across all 50 states. Donated items are distributed to the children most in need with the help of local welfare agencies, churches and other community groups. Last year the Marine Corps fulfilled the holiday hopes and dreams of 7.2 million less fortunate children. Since 1947, over 209 million children have been assisted.
