The Podiatry Group will be collecting coats through Dec. 31.

The Podiatry Group of South Texas is holding a coat drive this month to help support the homeless in San Antonio, TX. Throughout December, The Podiatry Group will be taking coat donations at each of their 16 locations through Dec. 31.

Once the coats have been collected, they will then be delivered to SAMMinistries, an interfaith ministry which helps the homeless. SAMMinistries was established in 1983 and offers shelter, housing and services to the homeless and their families in San Antonio, TX. They also offer volunteer opportunities for families, groups and individuals. Through tailored programs, SAMMinistries strives to overcome homelessness. Learn more at http://www.samm.org/.

The Podiatry Group of South Texas encourages everyone to participate in the coat drive and help them support SAMMinistries. It is not necessary to be a patient at The Podiatry Group to donate. This holiday season, make charity a new tradition and give back to the local community.
