NAPW honors Homa Adler, DMD, Founder of Chemo Dialysis Couture by Homa, as a 2014-2015 Professional Woman of the Year. Ms. Adler is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. As the largest, most-recognized networking organization of professional women in the country, spanning virtually every industry and profession, the National Association of Professional Women is a powerfully vibrant networking community with over 600,000 members and over 200 Local Chapters.
Dr. Adler had a thriving dental practice when in 2005 she was diagnosed with kidney and then breast cancer. Chemotherapy left her weak, frustrated and cold. Nothing she owned kept her warm and comfortable. "Cancer was the hardest thing I ever experienced," says Dr. Adler.
Now cancer free, life has changed completely for Dr. Adler. Inspired to help other cancer patients, she has embarked on a new venture, Chemo Dialysis Couture by Homa (CDC), where she designs clothing for women going through similar experiences.
CDC's stylish jackets are a fashion game changer for women undergoing cancer or dialysis treatment. Dr. Adler has succeeded in designing a casual and stylish piece of clothing to match each customer’s specific needs. In the near future, she plans on expanding the line to include garments for both men and women. Chemo Dialysis Couture by Homa is the perfect solution for people with a unique set of fashion requirements.
