William Shakespeare is the greatest literary genius of all time. Queen Elizabeth I was the virgin queen who chose her country over motherhood. And America was settled as a Christian nation. Right? What if that’s all wrong?

As a homemaker in a regional Queensland town, Helen Heathwood had no reason to question the history that’s been passed down and taught for centuries. But, when some strange things started happening, she began to seek the Lord for answers, and was shocked at the chain of revelations that became more and more significant over a 20-year period. Finally, two years ago, it became apparent that she should write down the discoveries she had made because she started to realise that the things she had learnt were not just for her but for others also.

Antidote to the Antichrist” (published by Xlibris AU) is about God’s love for mankind and His deep desire to have a relationship with everyone, such as He had with Adam in the Garden of Eden. He is well able to do it, however, He gave them the ability to choose. Satan has convinced people from then until now that God is not good and does not have our best interests at heart. Heathwood’s story reveals her own struggle to get free from generational curses that bound her to Satan’s ways because of the traditions of men. She believes organisations such as the Freemasons, actually lead people away from God and not to Him because of the secrecy they uphold.

“This book will appeal to readers because it is a mixture of my testimony and historical research. It chronicles my struggles as a teenager, trying to make sense of my life and how the Lord intersected with me and took me on a journey of discovery back through the centuries, revealing unknown truths about the Knights Templar, the Holy Grail and William Shakespeare” Helen said. “Along the way I met ancestors, of whom none of my family had ever heard, and who were hidden from the official histories but had been very influential. God has brought healing to my life by setting me free from generational curses, exposing Satan’s ambitions and lies, and proving to me that God is a God of love. My ancestors created the history that I failed in Grade ten, and He has helped me to shine His light on it and to set the record straight.”

“Antidote to the Antichrist” is not just a reference book, written as a journal paper or a thesis, but is the author’s personal journey as a child, a wife and a mother. It has been written from the perspective of a person trying to make sense of her circumstances, and calling out to God to help her. Along the way, she might just turn the history people know on its head.
