G-Food Lounge, located on 2nd Street under the I-80 overpass in SOMA, is celebrating its one year anniversary this week. In honor of this special occasion, the lounge will launch their own Happy Hour during which guests can unwind with wine and beer, and munch on sushi catered by a chef from one of G-Food’s most popular trucks or tacos from Tacos El Tuca.
“We look back on a year of success in converting a lot filled with rubble into an “On the Grid” food truck park with over 500 daily visitors looking for their choice of food from the 45 rotating food trucks for lunch.” says Manish Panjiar, partner in G Food Lounge.
“This week, G-Food Lounge will be honoring a few promotions to commemorate our anniversary
- Wednesday-Friday (January 14-16): the first 100 people to purchase their meals at G-Food Lounge will receive $5 off their lunch
- Wednesday-Friday (January 14-16): $1 tacos and $1 beers from 5pm-7pm
- Wednesday-Friday (January 14-16): free coffee from 7:30 am-10 am”
The lounge can also be reserved for company happy hours, private events, etc., during the evenings and on the weekends. And for those who cannot make happy hour, we will also be offering coffee and breakfast treats starting at 7:30 am.
G-Food Lounge provides a unique experience for diners in the SOMA area. Previously an empty parking lot, the converted space features approximately 45 unique and delectable food trucks each week, in an industrial lounge setting. Visitors can also enjoy free Wi-Fi and heating. For more information visit http://www.gfoodlounge.com.
