LED Enviroworks is part of our vertical integration strategy and a great addition to our existing LED business.
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) January 14, 2015
Equal Earth today announced that it has acquired Denver-based LED Enviroworks for an undisclosed amount. LED Enviroworks, now a subsidiary of Equal Earth, is a LED lighting company providing custom design, lighting consultation and installation services to leading auto dealerships such as Acura, Ford, Honda, Mitsubishi and Mercedes Benz, as well as many other large companies and well-known retailers.
This latest acquisition supports Equal Earth’s vertical integration strategy and growth of the company’s existing commercial LED lighting business. The transaction will deliver significant cost savings to customers seeking a range of environmentally-friendly energy solutions, such as LED lighting and solar photovoltaic systems, and offers customers the convenience of financing and installation services available under one roof.
“LED Enviroworks is part of our vertical integration strategy and a great addition to our existing LED business,” said Equal Earth President and CEO, Andrew Duggan. “LED Enviroworks will provide customers with a broader range of affordable LED lighting solutions and we are excited to welcome the team to Equal Earth,” added Duggan.
According to Will Wentworth, CEO of LED Enviroworks, who joins Equal Earth as part of the acquisition, the combined company can now offer customers who want LED lighting and solar solutions the convenience of “one-stop shopping.” “We are seeing more customers make the switch to sustainable energy solutions and the newly combined company will better serve the holistic needs of our customers,” added Wentworth.
