On January 9, 2015, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that it would continue to accept old editions of Form I-129, the Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, up to April 30, 2015. INSZoom.com, Inc., the world’s leading immigration software company, responded to this news by immediately reinstating the Form I-129, edition dated October 7, 2011, so that it’s legal and corporate clients could have continuous access to online forms to manage their immigration cases.
USCIS made the decision to accept older editions of Form I-129 (editions dated October 7, 2011, January 19, 2011 and November 23, 2010) up to April 30, 2015, because of feedback received from stakeholders regarding the newest edition of the form, dated October 23, 2014.

Petitioners may use these older editions of Form I-129 up to April 30. On May 1 and afterwards, USCIS will only accept the Form I-129 with edition date October 23, 2014. The form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, is filed by the U.S. employer sponsoring a foreign national for temporary employment in the United States.
