SPARKS has announced the promotion of Howie Huang to Vice President of Professional Services. As a commitment to being a high-growth company, SPARKS is constantly looking for ways to better align our executive management team to support the firm’s vision and growth. This move is a clear validation of the commitment to growth and expansion that SPARKS adopted two years ago. It has helped us achieve growth in both new and existing key accounts, while further expanding our depth and breadth of value we offer to each client. Mr. Huang is charged with continuing SPARKS’ rapid growth of professional services, which include Finance & Accounting and Information Technology professionals. To accomplish this goal he plans to add new leadership roles in both sales and recruiting.
Evette Baker, President of SPARKS said, "We are extremely pleased with our growth over the past two years and remain highly committed to continue on this path. Client feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and our candidates could not be more pleased with the job opportunities and support from the operations team. The on-going challenge will be to meet the high level of demand from our clients without sacrificing the personal touch they have come to expect."
Mr. Huang joined SPARKS in 2012 as the Executive Director of Professional Services and has been instrumental in this group’s rapid growth during his tenure. Prior to joining SPARKS he gained over 12 years’ experience in technical and professional talent acquisition. His background includes senior positions within both the Staffing & Recruiting and Professional/Government/IT Services arenas. Mr. Huang earned his BA from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1999.
