Asheville, NC – January 29, 2015 – ChiRunning, the worldwide leader in natural running and walking technique, announces the release of its new online membership program, The Chi School. This program is designed to help members of all ages and fitness levels learn the ChiRunning and ChiRun-Walk techniques in a manageable, easy-to-follow format.

Each week, members will receive a streaming video lesson, an audio download to take “on-the-run,” and supporting content to help them incorporate these mindful movement techniques into their runs. The program will launch with a 21-day free trial in March 2015.

Learning a new, energy-efficient way to run or walk can feel overwhelming for many. The Chi School focuses on one lesson each week, giving members time to absorb and practice the material during their workouts before advancing to the next lesson. By delivering a steady stream of information that gradually builds on itself, members will enjoy a year-round, ongoing learning experience that creates long-lasting results. This previously unpublished weekly content will be available exclusively through the membership program.

The membership program is designed to address the needs of runners and walkers seeking injury prevention solutions, increased speed and/or efficiency (especially beneficial for those in race training), or a fitness program that keeps them motivated with new exercises and engaging information. “Since ChiRunning started 15 years ago, we’ve continually been working to refine how we teach and what we teach. The Chi techniques have been so effective for so many – from beginners, to those recovering from debilitating injuries, to seasoned marathoners who find they can hold onto their speed or run personal bests even as they get older.
