We are proud to announce an exciting product update. Perfectly suited to all MIS implant systems, our new Zirconia abutments are biocompatible, and combine the esthetic benefits of Zirconia, with the accuracy, strength and long-term stability of a Titanium-to-Titanium connection between the implant and the abutment. MIS Zirconia abutments are constructed for incisors using 15 degree angled abutments for the anterior esthetic zone and oval shaped abutments for the pre-molar zone.

The use of Titanium bases can reduce stress within the Zirconia structure, avoiding cracks and chipping. Milled from solid Titanium alloy 6Al-4V (Grade 5), the Titanium connections, are anodized with a coating giving them a warm golden color. Titanium bases anodized to a golden shade reduces the greyish tint of the under structure.

Two Titanium-Zirconia abutment options are available from MIS: Non-cemented and pre-cemented. Pre-cemented Zirconia abutments come as ready-to-use single units, manufactured from an anatomically designed Zirconia component that is pre-cemented to the Titanium base. Modifications can be made by reduction only. Single unit pre-cemented abutments are available in pre-designed shapes for incisors and premolars.
