Midtown Atlanta’s Bezoria, the new fast-casual chef-driven Eastern Mediterranean restaurant, will celebrate its grand opening with a week of special promotions and giveaways from February 9-15, 2015. The week will include specials deals on signature menu items, free pita sandwiches and laffa wraps, and two Dining to Donate days, in which a percentage of sales will benefiting the Midtown Neighborhood Association and several organizations at Ga. Tech. Bezoria is located at 903 Peachtree Street NE, Suite C, Atlanta, GA 30309, at Eighth and Peachtree Street.

Bezoria is the first premium build-your-own fast-casual concept in the Southeast to offer Mediterranean food made completely in-house from the freshest ingredients. Bezoria’s design features an open kitchen and glass-protected bakery where guests can observe the fresh, hot breads and pitas being cooked from scratch on-site. Robotic technology ensures consistency and high standards in the preparation of the shawarma and falafel, allowing team members to focus on delivering excellent customer service.

The schedule for the grand opening events is as follows:

  • Monday, Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. – Ribbon-cutting with the Midtown Neighborhood Association / We’re full of falafel! Any falafel entrée all day long for $5.
  • Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Love the Laffa! Free Laffa Wrap with a purchase of a signature drink.
  • Wednesday, Feb. 11 – Dining to Donate! 15% of the days proceeds donated to Midtown Neighbors Association.
  • Thursday, Feb. 12 – Bounce Back! Purchase an entrée all day long to earn a free entrée for your next visit.
  • Friday, Feb. 13 at 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Power to the Pita! Free Pita Sandwiches with a purchase of a signature drink.
  • Saturday, Feb. 14 – Dining to Donate! 15% of the day’s proceeds donated to Ga Tech’s Zeta Tau Alpha, Lambda Chi Alpha and Alpha Phi.

The build-your-own menu consists of three tiers of options which guests can select from. Guests start with a base – a choice of pita, flatbread (wheat laffa), rice, hummus or salad; then select from four different protein options – chicken shawarma, chicken Kefta, steak shawarma, or falafel, which are gluten-free; and finally choose from four toppings – cabbage slaw, tomato and cucumber salad, sumac onions and pickles, all vegan and gluten-free. Sauces available include garlic, tahini and Sahara (hot) sauce. For guests who prefer a chef-designed meal, the menu includes signature selections featuring Mediterranean Salad, Vegan Sampler and the Bezoria Feast. Featured sides include lentil soup, Jerusalem salad, baba ghanoush, house-cut fries, baklava and signature drinks.

The restaurant is co-founded by Yogi Patel and Imtiaz Ramzan. Yogi is also a franchisee of Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint and Tin Drum Asia Café. He and his partner will open two more Bezoria restaurants in Atlanta over the next year and a half.

Bezoria’s menu was developed by professional Chef Nasser Amer, who joins Patel and Ramzan as a third partner and has relocated from Chicago to Atlanta to establish the new concept. Chef Nasser, certified by the American Culinary Federation (ACF), was formerly employed as a Food Network chef and also spent time with the Ritz-Carlton Hotels before creating his own successful Mediterranean restaurant in Chicago called Dawali Mediterranean Kitchen.

“Americans are becoming familiar with the bold flavors of Lebanon, Turkey, Israel and Syria in the Eastern Mediterranean region, and they want more of these dining options, said Nasser Amer, partner chef for Bezoria. “We believe Bezoria is on-trend and on the leading-edge for Atlanta, and already fulfilling a previously unmet niche.”

Bezoria is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week: from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. For more information, visit http://www.bezoria.com.
