The Institute for Law Department Excellence Announces Board of Regional Governors

Board Includes Some of the Industry’s Brightest Minds Responsible for In-House Legal Operations

The Institute for Law Department Excellence (ILDE®), a learning and networking organization dedicated to supporting and equipping in-house legal department leaders in their pursuit of operational improvement and business-alignment, today announced the formation of its new Board of Regional Governors. The Regional Governors, along with the Institute’s president, will set the overall strategy, goals, and initiatives for ILDE. The Board will also take the lead in holding periodic meetings in each of their respective regions to advance the goals of ILDE, provide education, share knowledge, network, and achieve other national or regional-specific objectives.

Named to the ILDE Board of Regional Governors are: Lisa Brown, Managing Director, Legal Operations & Strategy, Starbucks (ILDE Northwest Region); Connie Brenton, Chief of Staff and Director of Legal Operations, NetApp (ILDE West Region); Charlotte Riser, Manager, Litigation Support, Hess Corporation (ILDE Southwest Region); David Cambria, Global Director of Operations - Law, Compliance and Government Relations, Archer Daniels Midland (ILDE Midwest Region); and Yvonne Kirila, Litigation Operations & eDiscovery Manager, United Parcel Service (ILDE Southeast Region). A Regional Governor for the Northeast Region will be named shortly. Jeff Paquin, ILDE President, will serve as the Chair of the Board.

The caliber of these individuals and their organizations is remarkable, and their collective wisdom in guiding ILDE will be invaluable,” said Jeff Paquin, ILDE President. “With their assistance, we look forward to continuing to develop and deliver engaging content through webcasts, conferences, and other activities. We also plan to enhance and expand our member services to include regional networking events, increased education and training, the development of industry standards, and the enabling of innovation in legal departments.”
