Prophecy Healthcare is currently the only testing & assessment vendor in health care, creating highly focused, personality based benchmarks, that help identify top performers in different clinical specialties.
Greensboro, N.C. (PRWEB) March 03, 2015
Prophecy Healthcare®, Inc., the nation's leading provider of pre-hire clinical and health care testing, is now conducting dedicated research to expand job categories for its behavioral assessments. The result of acquiring the exam rights and Intellectual Property from international testing provider, PeopleClues in late 2014, the research will soon create more health care specific assessments to be used by hospitals, providers, healthcare staffing organizations and more.
“Prophecy Healthcare is currently the only testing & assessment vendor in health care, creating highly focused, personality based benchmarks, that help identify top performers in different clinical specialties,” said Ron Gonzalez MS BSN, founder and CEO at Prophecy Healthcare. “Now that we have full rights over our proven behavioral assessments, we are expanding to identify more nursing specialties and allied health job categories never before covered.”
The expanded research will be conducted to augment the current behavioral library, focusing on clinical job roles. Current assessments include general registered nurse (RN), Medical/Surgical RN, Emergency Room RN, and Intensive Care Unit RN but, from the asset purchase, Prophecy can expand those categories to include even more specialized assessments. Job categories for these will include operating room (OR), post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), Labor & Delivery (L&D), Mother Baby, and licensed practical nurse (LPN).
“Given certain personalities are optimal for certain units, our expanded research can help better place a nurse in his or her specialty,” said Gonzalez. “This ultimately results in an enhanced Patient experience and Improved Patient Outcome.”
As proven in years past, Prophecy’s validated behavioral assessments can match nurses to specific specialties for career placement. Designed around personality traits and cognition, assessments can assist newly graduated health care professionals in deciding which specialty correlates with their innate personality characteristics. These efforts are made in an attempt to increase worker retention in the health care industry. Behavioral assessments are even available for non-clinical positions and allied specialties as well.
