Geologist enlists new rhetoric for reform in America in new book

Americans are ready for real change, and that starts on Capitol Hill. We must call for principles before personality in the White House, and return to our post as proud Americans.

R.M. Trowbridge, Jr. has lived through the era of Eisenhower, the Kennedy craze and the barrage of Bush.

Following Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, Trowbridge Jr.’s father thought of a way he could serve his country while still making a living for himself. Trowbridge Sample Service was born. The company supplied U.S. forces with fuel for tanks and utility vehicles, and is still a major player in oil drilling today.

In his lifetime, however, Trowbridge Jr. has witnessed a departure from American ideals and values that were once strong. In Trowbridge, Jr.’s new book, “American Patriot/Spiritual Patriot,” he challenges Americans to push to restore those values and stand on the front lines of their destiny.

“When the government said they had shovel-ready jobs, the only spade they turned over came from the bottom of the deck,” said Trowbridge Jr.
