Regions Facility Services’ President Ron Wilhite was named the Restaurant Facility Management Association’s (RFMA) 2015 Vendor of the Year this month at the organization’s annual industry conference.
To select the Vendor of the Year, RFMA’s board of members reviews nominations for individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the organization and done so willingly and without seeking personal accolades. The board then votes on those nominations to select the winner of the award.
Wilhite was the volunteer general contractor for a RFMA Gives project in Sanford, Florida in 2013. The first vendor to receive RFMA’s Certified Restaurant Facility Professional (CRFP) designation, Wilhite has been an active member of the organization’s education committee and an integral part in the development of curriculum for the new CRFP online prep course.
