Creating a culture that attracts and retains top talent is our priority
Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) February 26, 2015
Indianapolis-based IT consulting firm Allegient LLC has been named to the Indiana Chamber of Commerce's 2015 list of the best places to work in the state. This year marks the fifth time that Allegient has received this honor.
A total of 100 companies have been designated a 2015 "Best Places to Work in Indiana" for creating a productive work environment where employees feel valued. Top companies were determined through employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys. The Best Companies Group handled the selection process and oversees similar programs in 26 states. The actual rankings for the companies will be unveiled at a May 7 awards dinner at the JW Marriott in downtown Indianapolis.
Indiana Chamber President and CEO Kevin Brinegar stated “This group truly showcases a cream of the crop of Hoosier employers,” he states. “These are organizations that demonstrate to their employees through their culture, communication, career opportunities, benefits, and more how much they value their contributions to the overall success and bottom line.”
"Simply put, we want our employees to feel valued, challenged and highly satisfied with their job,” remarked Allegient Director of Human Resources Margaret Mitchell. "Allegient is dedicated to creating a work culture that employees truly value. Through professional development opportunities, training, company events, and a focus on community involvement, our consultants feel connected to our company."
Winners were selected in four categories: small companies of between 15 and 74 U.S. employees; medium companies of between 75 and 249 U.S. employees; large companies of between 250 and 999 U.S. employees; and major companies with 1,000 or more U.S. employees. Allegient was recognized in the medium company category.
All companies that participated in the 2015 Best Places to Work program receive an in-depth evaluation identifying strengths and weaknesses according to their employees. In turn, this report can be used in developing or enhancing employee retention and recruitment programs.
Allegient President and CEO Gregg Gallant commented "We are honored that Allegient has been recognized again as a top employer in the state. Creating a culture that attracts and retains top talent is our priority. I believe our employees value that we offer a competitive benefits plan, provide consistent communication, support ongoing training and development, and reward hard work."
In addition to the May 7 awards dinner, Allegient will be recognized via a special section of the Indiana Chamber’s bimonthly BizVoice® magazine and through Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick. Additional program partners are the Best Companies Group, Indiana Economic Development Corporation, Indiana State Council of SHRM and the Wellness Council of Indiana. The 2015 Best Places to Work in Indiana awards dinner is open to the public. Individual tickets and tables are available at http://www.indianachamber.com/specialevents.
