A portable generator is a must-have for any homeowner, as you never know when you'll be without power

The Eastwood Company, innovators of do-it-yourself automotive restoration tools, today launched an affordable line of portable generators. The line targets DIY-hobbyists, homeowners and building contractors, who need a durable and dependable portable power supply for welders, tools and electronic equipment.

The line consists of the Eastwood 7500 Watt Generator and 3000 Watt Generator, plus Reliance Transfer Switches. This new portable generator family features heavy-duty commercial engines that are CARB/EPA certified, making both units 50-state compliant. They excel in fuel efficiency, which results in longer run times. Both units feature pure copper-wound heads to provide reliability when running at full load for extended periods of times, without overheating. A 2-year limited warranty is standard on both generators.

The Eastwood 7500 Watt Portable Generator features a running output of 7200 watts and a start up output of 7500 watts. There is an automatic voltage regulator included, which will provide a constant 120 or 220 volts at 60hz. This unit is equipped with a 15HP engine that is started by recoil or electric starter. The decibel output of this generator at 7M is 73db. The fuel tank has a 6.6 gallon capacity and the generator will run for approximately 9 hours at half load. All outlets are UL approved and there are 4 total outlets: One L5 30R 120V , one 5 20R 120V Duplex receptacle, one L14 30R 220V and a 12V DC automotive style outlet.
