The executive management team at Rose Pallet has named Dan DeVeau president. The change, which becomes effective March 1, 2015, follows a period of significant growth for the company. Mr. DeVeau succeeds Alan Rose, founder, who will assume the role of chief executive officer.
“Mr. Rose is an entrepreneurial spirit and, under his management, the company has prospered and enjoyed tremendous success,” commented DeVeau. “I am thrilled for the opportunity to leverage this existing upward momentum and continue to grow the organization.”
DeVeau has over 40 years of experience managing material handling and packaging operations as well as consulting on and engineering LEAN manufacturing processes in a variety of markets including food & beverage, retail, healthcare, agriculture, oil & gas, industrial, manufacturing, and government. He was formerly President and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, with considerable executive leadership at CP Industries, Rubbermaid, and AO Smith. Additionally, DeVeau has served in various capacities on numerous for-profit and nonprofit boards. At Rose Pallet, he will be responsible for setting the overall direction for the company as well as assisting in sales, marketing, and operations initiatives.
“As our new president, DeVeau will help us continue to meet our business objectives,” said Rose. "I am proud of the integral role I played in strategic development, but it is time for new leadership. DeVeau’s wealth of talent and experience will ensure that Rose Pallet continues to be a leader in pallet management.”
DeVeau holds a bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University, an MBA from University of Michigan, and LEAN Certifications from University of Wisconsin.
