Calgary, Alberta (PRWEB) March 03, 2015
UrbanStar Capital and the UrbanStar group of companies, a Canadian real estate asset management and investment firm, announced today a new strategy to develop an office in Beijing, China.
Plans to develop operations in Beijing were initiated by Dean Frank Gorenc, CEO of UrbanStar following their involvement in the 2013 China-Calgary Investment Summit. UrbanStar was a major sponsor of the event and the summit was organized by the Alberta Government and Calgary Economic Development Board.
Dean Gorenc said, "It was a great pleasure to join the wildly talented and influential delegation that journeyed to Beijing for the 2013 China-Calgary Investment Summit. The summit provided a platform for UrbanStar to promote outbound Chinese investment to our great province and represent Canadian real estate investments."
Since the Summit, UrbanStar has developed strategic relationships in China and will look to create an office in Beijing to meet the demand for investment into Canadian land offerings. Along with their Japan office, opening the Beijing office will be an important step in growing the business and achieving the goal of taking new land offerings sales to over $50 million annually, making UrbanStar a leader in Canadian land offerings in Asia.
This press release does not constitute a solicitation or an offer to purchase securities. All offerings carried out will be made to qualified investors under an Offering Memorandum or Term Sheet available from registered dealers and in compliance with applicable securities laws of the specific jurisdiction in which the offering is being made.
