Athol Murray College of Notre Dame is inviting prospective student athletes to show off their hockey skills and learn more about attending the college by participating in one of three Spring Showcase Hockey Camps, which are scheduled to take place in March and April. These camps will be held in Wilcox, Saskatchewan, at Athol Murray College of Notre Dame, and all three camps will provide prospective student athletes with a chance to play in front of Notre Dame's leading coaching staff. The Female Spring Camp, which is open to female players born between 1997 and 2003, will run from March 27 to 29; the Bantam Spring Camp, which is open to males born in 2001 or 2002, will take place from April 16 to April 18; and the Midget & Jr. A Spring Camp, which is open to males born between 1996 and 2000, will be held from April 23 to 25.
In addition to letting players demonstrate their talents, these spring camps give student athletes a chance to tour Athol Murray College of Notre Dame’s facilities and meet staff members who are involved in various aspects of student life, including general athletics, academics, spirituality, and residential life. This year, the Female Spring Camp will also offer players exposure to coaches from other colleges taking part in the event, which are the University of North Dakota, the University of Manitoba, the University of Maine, the University of Regina, the University of Saskatchewan, Brown University, St. Cloud University, York University, Bemidji State University, and Mount Royal. During the Female Spring Camp, coaches will also host a special session for parents and players, in which they will discuss the different hockey leagues and the demands of competing at this advanced level. Student athletes and their families can learn more about the upcoming camps or register to participate in one by visiting the Athol Murray College of Notre Dame website.
