A leading expert on autism therapy and intervention programs, Dr. Pamela Rollins, MS, Ed.D., associate professor of Communication Disorders at the University of Texas at Dallas, presented preliminary research that indicates children who interact with social robots are more engaged in autism therapy compared to interactions with humans.
