On March 27, 2015, Mid Atlantic BX (MABX®), a trade association dedicated to connecting the construction industry since 1938, will suspend operations. The action will affect approximately 600 MABX members.

The MABX Board of Directors made this difficult decision as a direct result of rapidly changing economic and market conditions that have continued to diminish the usefulness of MABX’s core project information service.

“We are truly saddened by this turn of events,” said Chad Harvey, Executive Director of the BX. “We did everything possible over the past several years to make this a viable organization.”

The MABX will hold one final gathering of its members, partners and guests on March 19, 2015 at the association’s 43rd Celebration of Excellence.

MABX values the support that its members have historically provided to the organization and truly regrets the need to take this action. It has been the association’s privilege and honor to serve the construction community for the past 76 years.
