VisiRule is a powerful business modeling tool which enables application developers design and deliver rule-based systems, expert systems, and knowledge-based systems as interactive web-based applications. Business experts simply draw their knowledge using a point-and-click paradigm, specifying the logic required to analyze the user's input, and publish the resulting chart.
This means that business experts no longer need to engage technical programmers to build decision support systems - they just need to understand and organize their own decision-making processes. By offering a rich graphical environment totally geared towards decision modeling, VisiRule provides precisely this.
The new VisiRule website has a clean uncluttered design, improved functionality and enhanced content focused on showcasing the versatility and power of VisiRule. The new website goes live today and is located at:
"We are excited about our new website launch and the opportunity to present VisiRule to our customers and prospects," said Clive Spenser, Marketing Director of LPA. "We believe that this new site will allow our visitors to have a hands-on informative experience as we continue to grow and increase our market presence."
The new dedicated VisiRule website features a collection of interactive VisiRule demos in the following target sectors:
Visiule Chart Authoring
VisiRule includes a dedicated Windows-based authoring environment in which charts can be rapidly drawn and tested from a logical point-of-view. VisiRule Author supports a flow-chart paradigm like Visio, SmartDraw, and LucidChart, but one where the resultant flow charts or decision trees can be directly published and executed.
The resulting charts can be shared as passive diagrams and published on the internet as active charts. VisiRule Server will identify which questions need to be asked and generate automatically a web-based questionnaire which can be customised in accordance with company's design preferences.
The end-users will be presented with a series of questions to answer or be computed, and an optional interactive map generated from the original chart to help them navigate the decision process.
VisiRule can generate audit trails which track a given user's session and output complete tables which exhaustively articulate all possible chart outcomes.
LPA is a small dedicated AI company in London, England which has been providing logic-based software solutions since it was formed in 1981. LPA products have been used in a wide-range of commercial and research applications including legal document assembly, environmental engineering, information modeling, disease diagnosis, fault diagnosis, language analysis and hardware simulation. LPA’s goal is to provide innovative, integrated and intelligent solutions to complex business problems.
VisiRule is part of, and can be used in conjunction with, other modules within LPA's integrated range of AI tools for building intelligent rule-based systems. These include logic-based programming, case-based reasoning, data mining, fuzzy logic, uncertainty handling, expertsystems, visual programming and intelligent agents. This architecture provides a multi-layer approach to software development and integration.
