Pulsating, multi-colored lights create an immersive experience that pairs perfectly with EDM.

The Light DJ Pro app has just arrived for iPad and connects to LIFX WiFi-enabled light bulbs to bring the electronic dance music experience into the living room.
LIFX debuted on crowd-funding site Kickstarter in September 2012. Since then, LIFX has been featured in the New York Times as one of the best, new smart home devices. LIFX screws in like any traditional light bulb and brings life to your surroundings with over 16 million colors.
“I’ve always enjoyed the riveting light-and-music productions at concerts and music festivals,” said Kevin Kolasinski, Founder and Creative Director at Mango Bee, “but recreating the experience at home used to require lots of bulky, expensive equipment. Now you can use the same smart light bulbs that you already use around your home.
“Pulsating, multi-colored lights create an immersive experience that pairs perfectly with EDM. I wish we’d had something like this in college,” he added.
Creating a light show is as simple as pressing one of the 30 effect buttons. Users can create custom light patterns on-the-fly and mix them on two configurable lighting zones. Tempo controls ensure that the lights are perfectly synced to any music source.
The application is free to download and comes with enough effects to bring any house party to the next level. Upgrade options will give aspiring light DJs complete customizability over colors and patterns.
Light DJ Pro is available for download today on the App Store. Visit http://www.lightdjpro.com for more information and a video preview.
