The Hoopis Performance Network, a web-based sales training and leadership development organization, has named Joey Davenport, CLU, CLF, President of the company. The announcement comes as the Hoopis Performance Network surpasses 40,000 subscribers, launches new innovative solutions and expands its reach internationally.

In his role as President, Davenport oversees sales & marketing, solutions development, program management, faculty relations and client relationship development. He began his career in Nashville, Tennessee with Northwestern Mutual in 1995. Davenport has the unique distinction of having been mentored and working directly with two GAMA International Hall of Fame inductees, Harry Hoopis and the late William S. Cochran.

Over the past eight years, the Hoopis Performance Network has developed a significant presence in the United States and Canada. In partnership with LIMRA International, HPN has even translated their award-winning Trustworthy Selling sales effectiveness program to French for the Canadian market. The Hoopis Performance Network has clients in over 30 Caribbean Islands as well as a presence in Asia. HPN has developed solutions for recruiting & selection, new advisor development, experienced advisor development and leadership development.

The average age of a financial advisor in the life insurance & financial services industry is 57 years old. The industry's four-year retention rate is only 13% and has not improved in two decades.
