The Little Gym has teamed up with SeriousFun Children’s Network as part of a new philanthropic campaign, The Little Gym Big Hearts, dedicated to helping children and families from all over the world.
SeriousFun Children’s Network is a global community of camps and programs that serve children coping with serious illnesses and their families. Founded by actor and philanthropist, Paul Newman, SeriousFun Children’s Network provides camp programs, entirely free of charge, to more than 75,000 kids and their families around the world each year. These children are given the opportunity to escape the fear, pain, and isolation of their medical condition and simple be children or, as Paul put it, kick back and “raise a little hell.” This simple idea – taking fun seriously – helps children foster resilience, strength, and confidence which stays with them well beyond camp and helps them lead fuller lives.
The stars align for these organizations. Both The Little Gym and SeriousFun Children’s Network are devoted to helping children improve their confidence, self-esteem, and most importantly have a whole lot of fun.
The Little Gym has pledged to carry out global events to help support SeriousFun Children’s Network and all of the amazing work they do to help children and families each day.
