I've heard nothing but positive comments about David Williams and his coaching abilities, and it's been an honor to be apart of this statue.

Winning over 200 games in 33 years with numerous state titles, David Williams was known for much more than just being a football coach, he influenced the community. Williams passed away early 2013 after a short-lived battle with liver cancer. Past and present football players came together to fund a bronze statue of Williams so that his example and legacy would live on forever.

Lead sculptor Matt Glenn at Big Statues said about this statue, “I’ve heard nothing but positive comments about David Williams and his coaching abilities, and it’s been an honor to be apart of this statue.”

The custom bronze statue will be placed right outside of the high school locker room doors and looks as though Coach Dave is running to the field for another game under the lights.
