New PacificEast IDICIA division will provide web-service delivery of consumer identity and verification services for businesses.

Oregon based PacificEast Research Inc., today announced the launch of its new IDICIA brand and division. The new brand will focus on identity verification, fraud prevention and consumer information oriented web-services. “The PacificEast branded services targeted toward consumer outreach in the healthcare, fundraising and financial service markets can be quite diverse as compared to our more recently developed services focused on identity verification, fraud prevention and telecom” said PacificEast CEO, Garth Froese. “We believe we can provide a simpler, clearer message to all of our customers if we split out the two very different market focuses into two different brands.” CTO, Tom Liebe, stated that all existing web service functionality under the PacificEast brand and URLs will be maintained for the foreseeable future. “We aren’t turning any functionality off but will be focusing new feature development of real-time, web-service products on our new IDICIA set of APIs.” PacificEast’s full line of batch data hygiene and information appending services will remain under the PacificEast brand.
