Addiction is a disease that affects so many people and this campus expansion is a major milestone in connecting the Jacksonville community as we work together to highlight the power and positivity of recovery.
Jacksonville, FL (PRWEB) April 02, 2015
The public and media are invited to a special dedication ceremony May 8 at 10 am on the Lakeview Health campus to mark the completion of a multi-building construction project that includes a conference center available to the community. Lakeview Health has been working to greatly expand Jacksonville’s ability to treat addiction patients as well disseminate critical information to those professionals nationwide who refer clients for treatment. Speaking at the ceremony will be Councilman and Jacksonville Councilman Bill Bishop, Lakeview Health Chairman of the Board and Trinity Hunt Partner Hunter R. Peterson, and Lakeview Health President and CEO Roy M. Serpa.
“This is only the beginning,“ stated Roy Serpa. “Addiction is a disease that affects so many people and this campus expansion is a major milestone in connecting the Jacksonville community as we work together to highlight the power and positivity of recovery.”
The Lakeview Health campus expansion includes a 3,250 square-foot conference center, 7,250 square-foot administrative building, 10,300 square-foot wellness center and 4 lane, 25-meter pool. A reception will follow the ceremony and tours of the campus will be offered to event attendees.
“These spaces become so much more than the rooms in which people receive treatment. They are the places where lives are turned in the right direction,” Serpa continued. “That’s why so much care is given to our patients’ surroundings at every step of their journey. From the warm entrance that welcomes folks inside, to the new athletic facilities that inspire a healthy lifestyle, our goal is to raise the bar for addiction rehabilitation.”
