alt-J originally formed in 2007 in Leeds, England. The Indie rock band consisted originally of Gwin Sainsbury, Joe Newman, Thom Green, and Gus Unger-Hamilton. They have released two albums in their career, An Awesome Wave and This is All Yours. The latter was just released in 2014 and their 2015 tour is being held to lend support to it. The band has been honored with several BRIT Award nominations and received a Grammy Award nomination at the 57th annual event for Best Alternative Music Album. The group didn’t walk away with the Grammy Award, but they earned the respect of acts from around the world.

This is All Yours reached the top of the UK albums charts and peaked at No. 4 in the United States.
