Herzing College Scarborough is pleased to announce the addition of the Medical Office Administrator, Community Services Worker and Business Information Systems programs to their program offerings.

The Medical Office Administrator program, along with the Community Services Worker program, marks the first healthcare offerings available at the campus. The Medical Office Administrator diploma program provides students with an overview of medical office principles, practices and operations with a focus on developing medical office administrative skills.
Graduates will be prepared to work in entry-level medical office administrator positions in various health care enterprises such as; medical clinics, hospitals, extended care centers and chiropractor offices.
The Business Information Systems diploma program provides instruction on the latest office technology, including the most current office applications, computerized accounting, desktop publishing, internet, e-mail and payroll certification. Graduates will be eligible for the Canadian Payroll Association – Payroll Compliance Practitioner designation, and for
employment in a variety of areas, including; office management, bookkeeping and accounting.
The Community Services Worker diploma program provides students with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to provide many types of assistance to people in the community.
Areas of study include addictions, psychology, sociology, mental health, Canadian family dynamic, professional skills, counselling and interviewing techniques, business communications and report writing. Graduates are prepared to find employment in hospitals, halfway houses, detoxification centres, residential care facilities, rehabilitation centres and outpatient clinics, personal communications and personal and vocational counseling.
