After more than 17 years supporting leading global companies throughout Europe, PARK will be launching its USA office to service North American based clients. PARK is a world leading design management and design leadership management consultancy firm with offices in the Netherlands and Germany. Often referred to as the “McKinsey of the design world” by many of their clients, PARK adds value to organizations by increasing the impact of design through more efficient and effective operations. With more than 17 years in operation, PARK has had the privilege to work with world market leaders across a variety of industries. PARK creates design recognition and awareness, and guides Managers, Directors, CEO’s, and VP’s of design for companies such as: Cisco, BMW, Nestle, GlaxoSmithKline, Sony, Unilever, LEGO, Johnson Controls, Reckitt Benckiser, Bang & Olufsen, Novo Nordisk and many others. For example, PARK has been a preferred design management and design leadership partner for LEGO since 2005. PARK developed and implemented major turnaround efforts transforming the company from near bankruptcy into the biggest player and most profitable company in the toy industry. This was accomplished through co-developing programs for several LEGO departments:

  •     LEGO Product Groups: Consolidating and centering design and innovation approaches, process and tools across the organization;
  •     LEGO Concept Lab: Facilitating the creation of obviously LEGO but never seen before play experiences (i.e. front end innovations);

  •     LEGO House: Facilitating the design approach of creating a world leading hands-on brand experience center;
  •     LEGO Education: (re)Design the development process to deliver integrated holistic solutions;
  •     LEGO Design Academy: Training and developing internal design personnel to grow into their careers within LEGO, as well as many other internal projects.

PARK USA will be directed and managed by Jay Peters. Jay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from Southern Illinois University, and a Master’s degree in Business Design from Domus Academy in Milan, Italy. Since joining PARK in 2010, Jay brings forward a great deal of international design & business acumen with a profound passion for both. Throughout his career, he has held various roles including corporate, agency, consultancy and entrepreneurial startups. His career further spans creative fields from products and services to communications. Jay has a special interest in business design, design thinking, and professional education. He enjoys world travel and regularly shares his experience via lectures and workshops.
