Slager, pending in Charleston South Carolina, which is one of a number of recent high profile cases across the country. Dunlap has significant trial experience involving technology use has taught classes on the subject.

“Self-made video is super easy to do in the modern era. It has changed the landscape and the type of evidence that courts have to cope with,” Dunlap said during the interview.

He added, “In the broadest sense, there is no question that having a video of something happen can be hugely helpful however, at the same time, there are many hidden pitfalls and challenges.”
