Watson Inc. published a 5 minute on-demand webinar designed to help explain technologies available today to assist the formulator in changing particle sizes of nutrients based on the characteristics desired. This Webinar entitled, “Particle Size Adjustment for Value Added Formulation”, is the second in a series of five on-demand webinars which will be made available this spring.

The speaker for this series is Alice Wilkinson; one of the foremost industry recognized experts in the field of nutritional formulation. In this webinar, Wilkinson explains that particle size of nutrients must often be adjusted in order to keep them in line with end-use specifications.

Among the technologies discussed in this webinar for particle size reduction are milling and micronizing. Agglomeration technologies are effective for increasing particle sizes. Changing particle size can impact flowability, dispersion, dusting, uniformity and compression profiles.
