The locally owned and operated business Caring Transitions of Greater Riverside has been recognized by the Caring Transitions’ national headquarters as a Rookie All Star franchise.

Caring Transitions of Greater Riverside, which launched in February of 2014, specializes in organizing and managing senior moves, downsizing, and liquidating belongings through estate sales and online auctions. Caring Transitions of Greater Riverside serves Riverside, Corona/Norco and the surrounding areas of Riverside County, California. On a national level, the Caring Transitions franchise is the largest resource specializing in this type of senior relocation services.

“As any business owner will tell you - it's a roller coaster ride in the beginning! This award gave us a little confidence that our hunches and choices were good, and that we're on the right track. We love being a part of the Caring Transitions family - it's a unique collection of dedicated individuals that have chosen a special way to help our elders,” owner Lauree Sierra said.

Lauree Sierra owns the business along with her daughter Sierra Vehawn and son-in-law Jimmy Vehawn. In her previous life, Lauree was a sales manager and executive in the newspaper industry. She recently left her position as the Advertising Manager of the San Gabriel Valley News Group to start Caring Transitions. Jimmy, previously a pipe-fitter with a knack for estate sales, is the company’s Operations Manager and Sierra, a stay-at-home-mom who has worked in a variety of accounting and administrative positions, works as the Administrative Manager.

“We’ve seen the need for quality relocation services grow, and we’re thrilled to be filling that need. It’s as if we’ve been training our whole lives to be able to fill this role. It’s been a perfect fit for us and this community,” Lauree said.

Caring Transitions Company President Chris Seman said, to be recognized as a Rookie All Star, the franchise had to be open for a full year and have exceeded expectations.

“Caring Transitions of Greater Riverside demonstrates an understanding of the system and how to execute it and have created a solid foundation that is leading their businesses on an accelerated growth pattern,” he said.
