The 150 Watt LED Bay is on the DesignLights Consortium Qualified Products List, enabling rebates for commercial and industrial constructions.

Lighting manufacturer LED Waves has proudly launched the LED Bay, a new collection of luminaires for large commercial or industrial buildings. Applications include factories, warehouses, airports, convention centers, and other indoor spaces with ceilings up to 50 feet high.
The LED Bay is made in the USA in 100 Watt, 150 Watt, 200 Watt and 300 Watt brightness levels, and with a 60, 90 or 110 degree reflector. The availability of options effectively doubles the company’s selection of LED high bays, and also enables this product to be used as a low bay, for mounting heights of 25 feet and under.
Each LED Bay utilizes a single Philips LUMILEDS M chip as a light source. This high power LED delivers industry-leading efficiency (high bays LM-79 tested at over 90 lumens per Watt) and luminaire-to-luminaire consistency.
The M chip is protected by a two-level passive cooling system to ensure reliable, maintenance-free performance over +50,000 hours of use with minimal lumen depreciation.
First, series of highly conductive copper tubes mounted to the LED board draws heat outwards and away from the M-chip. Then, the copper tubes lead to an aluminum heat sink. This heat sink has been machined into intricate airfoils. These shapes maximize pathways through which hot air travels out through the sides of the high bay – away from the LED and other electronics.
The 150 Watt LED Bay is on the DesignLights Consortium Qualified Products List, enabling rebates for commercial and industrial constructions. The 100W, 200W and 300W high bay units are currently in submission and projected to be DLC qualified next month. As with all LED Waves products made in the USA, each LED Bay is covered by the company’s 5 year warranty.
