Modiani Kitchens, the New Jersey based kitchen remodeling company, has completed a stunning transitional kitchen redesign in Greenwich, CT. The lead designer on the project was Bernard Kim.
Specific challenges of the remodel included finding innovative storage solutions in a relatively small space, configuring the room to make the most of the area while boosting productivity, and making a big splash while remaining on budget.
To address the issue of space, Kim and his team utilized creative storage solutions. Turning lazy susans were installed on both corner base cabinets, creating a great deal of stowed storage space on the base cabinet level. A pull out pantry was also installed, allowing the homeowner easy access to pantry items while keeping the kitchen completely uncluttered. In a further effort to declutter, the garbage is also integrated into the cabinet system in a pull out drawer.
A bright white color scheme works to enhance the natural light in the space. A custom glass cupboard showcases the homeowner’s refined glassware collection, adding a touch of elegance to the space. Other touches include a custom beaded inset style cabinet, with a white recessed panel door and flat panel drawer. Quartz composite countertops are coupled with a wooden countertop on the island. The space also features a 40” Lacanche Range, a 36” Sub Zero refrigerator, a 42” Zephyr hood, and a 24” Bosch dishwasher.
