Unique in the Maldives and bookable now: Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort

“All will be offered at a level of service rarely experienced elsewhere in the Maldives,” said General Manager Pascal Billon.

The Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort, which opens its doors on August 1, 2015, can now be booked on multiple Outrigger, trade and consumer platforms.

Bookings for the 53-key property went live on outrigger.com, outriggermaldives.com and via GDS systems (Outrigger code “OR”) on May 2, 2015.

Special opening rates are now “live” for all pool villas, comprising 24 Beach Pool Villas (211 sqm, 2271 ft), seven Two-Bedroom Pool Villas (282 sqm, 3035 ft), 21 Ocean Pool Villas (225 sqm, 2421 ft), and the Presidential Villa (600 sqm, 6458 ft).

General Manager Pascal Billon said the guest experience at the resort will be unique in the Maldives: “At Outrigger Maldives we aim to deliver informal luxury and celebrate the destination’s unique culture and sense of place. Educational marine environment experiences on the pristine waters offshore and wonderful Maldivian culinary discoveries onshore await all guests.”

Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort is located less than 50 kilometres (31 mi) north of the equator, 340 kilometres (211 mi) to the south of Malé and conveniently accessible via a 55-minute flight to Kaadedhdhoo Airport, followed by a scenic 20-minute journey on a private speedboat.

The Outrigger offers guests a 25-meter (82-ft) pool, the Outrigger Navasana Spa, a fitness center, reef adventure center, dive center, relaxation zone, kids club and boutique shop.

All meals at the Outrigger Maldives will be full service a la carte. Fresh and innovative dining will be offered at Blue Salt (all-day brasserie-style dining), Nala Rah (exclusive interactive teppan grill and raw bar with ocean views), Poolside (creative cuisine and comfort foods with a view), and The Deck (chill out bar). Outrigger will have private beach and in-villa dining and innovative theme nights.

“All will be offered at a level of service rarely experienced elsewhere in the Maldives,” said Billon.

“Signature dishes, healthy options and personalized menus for special occasions can be enjoyed in the setting of your choice around the island or on a private boat trip,” he said.
