DonorSearch, a data analytics company specializing in prospect research and screening for nonprofit organizations, recently joined The Giving Institute to help advance research into nonprofit fundraising.

DonorSearch will be one of only 48 members of the prestigous institute, which publishes Giving USA, the most comprehensive annual study of philanthropy in America.

“We’re proud to have been accepted as one of only 48 members, and the only member in Maryland, of The Giving Institute,” said Bill Tedesco, CEO of DonorSearch. “The Giving Institute has probably done more to advance fundraising than any other organization, and its members are recognized thought leaders in the industry.”

As a Giving Institute member, DonorSearch will have early access to Giving USA, the longest running, most in-depth report on philanthropy and philanthropic trends in America. DonorSearch will be presenting key information from the report as soon as it’s released with a series of webinars.

In addition, DonorSearch is co-sponsoring a landmark study of major gift fundraising, currently being conducted by Professor Adrian Sargeant, who holds a Chair in Fundraising at Plymouth University and directs the Centre for Sustainable Philanthropy, and Amy Eisenstein, ACFRE, Principal of Tri Point Fundraising.

This study, which will be completed later this year, is designed to help nonprofits maximize their major gift fundraising.
