New York, NY (PRWEB) May 18, 2015 -- Romeo & Juliet Couture, a contemporary clothing brand best recognized for its chic, easy elegance and its beloved Gossip Girl collaboration, is now under the new ownership of David Shamouelian, the company's Chief Executive Officer of over a decade.
In his new position as both owner and CEO, the namesake behind Romeo & Juliet Couture will continue to oversee the international brand and execute his ambitious agenda. As part of Shamouelian's investment to grow the brand, in the coming years he plans to expand into more categories, including accessories and other fashion apparel, holding true to its consumer base while targeting untapped markets.
"Romeo & Juliet Couture has grown into an iconic global brand, and this is just the beginning. I'm proud of what we have accomplished over the years, but now we are poised to not only increase in size, but strengthen our efforts in nearly every facet of our current competitive strategy" said Shamouelian. "I look forward to taking advantage of this opportunity to revamp the brand and continue to do the work that I love. I am fully embracing this new journey—there’s so much more to come."
To prepare for this expected growth, Shamouelian has added key personnel to his manufacturing, sales, operations, and marketing teams to effectively meet his goals. Additionally, his strategic plan includes a newly-designed website that will drive traffic and sales, as well as increased media exposure through partnerships like celebrity endorsements and continued television series collaborations. The new Romeo & Juliet Couture showroom will now be housed at 530 Seventh Avenue in the Garment District in New York City, featuring a vibrant combination of functionality and fête that reflects the brand's unique aesthetic. Romeo & Juliet Couture will remain committed to the brand's core philosophy of offering truly noteworthy pieces within a line that has the ability to evolve with the trends and inspirations of the ever-changing fashion industry.
