Accountingfly, in partnership with Accounting Today, has opened registration for ADVANCE ‘15: The Accounting Career Summit. A “virtual job fair,” ADVANCE ‘15 provides an online platform for accounting firms across the United States to promote current job openings and interact with a diverse community of qualified candidates. This online networking event will take place on June 18th from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. EST and is expected to draw more participants than last year’s inaugural event, which hosted over 1,000 candidates and 100 hiring firms.
“When it comes to recruiting, technology is really leveling the playing field, giving small and midsized firms access to the kinds of recruiting tools that had once been reserved for the Big Four, and giving accountants a wealth of job opportunities they didn’t have before,” said Dan Hood, Editor-in-Chief of Accounting Today. “The beauty of ADVANCE '15 is the way it brings together firms of all sizes with candidates from across the country in a common environment in real-time to help find the best fit on both sides.”
Candidates and hiring firms can visit accountingfly.com/ADVANCE for more information and to register for the event. Registration is free for candidates.
Once registered, candidates can upload their resume and profile information to the event website. During the live event, candidates will be able to chat directly with firms that have job openings matching their interests via one-on-one real-time text conversations. Hiring firms have the option of purchasing booths starting at $495. Each firm will have its own company page showcasing career opportunities and company culture.
