Jack D. McCormick has been appointed to serve as a Member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) B31.1 Power Piping Code Subgroup on Design for a term effective May 2015 and expiring on June 2019. The Power Piping Code Subgroup on Design is responsible for reviewing and updating Chapter II of ASME B31.1, other design related code requirements, and to review and update specified industry standards, specifications, codes, manuals, and practices.
McCormick, a mechanical engineer in the Power Generation and Energy Department of Commonwealth Associates, Inc., recently presented on "Drivers and Trends in Combined Heat and Power," at the annual ELECTRIC POWER Conference and Exhibition in New Orleans, Louisiana. He earned a BS in Engineering at Western Michigan University.
