SD Fabrics, whose formal name is Sidharth Dhar Fabrics, is an Indian-based manufacturer and exporter of Kashmir hand-embroidered crewel and chain stitch products. Its extensive premier line for the U.S. marketplace features linen, cotton duck, silk organza, jute, and velvet fabrics. All are hand-embroidered with crewel and/or chain stitches in a variety of patterns and designs. Offered in many colors, sizes, and styles, the fabrics are perfect for furniture, upholstery, curtains, wall coverings, bedding, home decor items such as seat cushions, table runners and pillows, quilted gift items, and more.

"I'm excited to be able to bring SD Fabrics' beautiful, hand-embroidered fabrics to the U.S. marketplace," said Linda Singh, head of the U.S. office for SD Fabrics and also founder of Sitara Collections, which imports and sells jewelry, cruelty free leather products, and home decor items handcrafted by artisans in India. "These fabrics are some of the most beautiful and special hand-embroidered fabrics in the world, but until now they were difficult for U.S. manufacturers to source and use in their production. By launching the U.S. office for SD Fabrics, manufacturers, such as those attending ITMA Market, can see and feel these fabrics and see the high quality of the materials and handwork. We know seeing is believing, and once buyers see and touch these fabrics for themselves, we're confident they will want to use them in their product lines."

After the ITMA Market, Singh can be reached at SD Fabrics' U.S. office located at 37 Marie Lane, Elkton, MD 21921; 917-575-0467.
