Philadelphia's Analog Watch Co. does it again with an innovative watch that repurposes an age-old material for the modern man and woman

The Mason Watch - Now on Kickstarter

As an artist growing up in the hills of Pennsylvania, I'm inspired by nature and love to use it in my work. We at Analog are trying to rewrite the rules on how natural materials like stone and wood can be used in consumer products.

The folks who created the world's first soft and flexible wooden strapped watch are at it again. Announcing the release of their newest and most ambitious design, the long awaited Mason Watch. Made of real marble, the Mason Watch is the world's first watch with a solid stone body and face. For nature and art-lovers everywhere, the Mason Watch is a fresh take on an old idea-- a functional marble sculpture for your wrist.

The company's Kickstarter campaign is live today, following major press coverage from Fast Company Design and Cool Hunting. The project raised over $10k in the first 24 hours.

“We wanted to show off the natural beauty of marble above all,” said Lorenzo Buffa, Founder and Creative Director of Analog Watch Co. “As an artist growing up in the hills of Pennsylvania, I'm inspired by nature and love to use it in my work. We at Analog are trying to rewrite the rules on how natural materials like stone and wood can be used in consumer products.”

Each watch uses a Swiss made movement and comes with a premium top grain leather strap hand crafted by Amish leathersmiths in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Unique, innovative and utterly original, Analog Watch Co continues to push the boundaries with each new style they release. Known for bold design and playful pranks, like the “Ant Watch” April Fool's stunt, which garnered attention from major publications worldwide. Be sure to keep an eye out for this new fashion watch brand, who is rapidly gaining recognition in fashion and design.

About Analog Watch Co: Analog was started when college grad and designer Lorenzo Buffa found himself out of work and literally cleaning toilets. He took to Kickstarter in 2013 to launch his first product line, raising 75k in funding. A true rags-to-riches story, Analog now has a studio and showroom in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, has been a bestseller at the MoMA Design Store for over a year, and distributes worldwide.
