We match our members, world leading communication companies, with the best Canadian SMEs, and utilize our technology expertise and lab environment to accelerate and validate new software-defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV) technologies, applications and services.”

The first set of projects will include: SDN Elephant Flow Congestion Mitigation with Automatic Bandwidth Provisioning with BTI Systems and Corsa Technology; SDN controlled Energy Management for Data Centres with Juniper and IG2; NFV Service Orchestration for assured Cloud connectivity with TELUS and CENX; OpenFlow switch – Smart steering for MPLS with TELUS and Noviflow; and vEPC Demonstration with CENGN and Expeto.
