Accreditation Commission for Health Care’s Sleep Accreditation program recently received acceptance by PacificSource Health Plans. The approval by PacificSource will allow ACHC accredited sleep providers in Oregon, Idaho, Washington, and Montana to access the network.
Founded in 1933, PacificSource Health Plans is an independent, not-for-profit community health plan serving businesses and individuals in the Northwest. With more than 275,000 covered lives, the organization’s mission is to ensure access to necessary healthcare. The addition of ACHC to PacificSource’s list of accepted accreditation organizations now allows individuals covered by PacificSource Health Plans to have access to a larger selection of sleep providers. The ability for PacificSource customers to choose the sleep provider that best meets their needs will contribute to the overall accessibility to quality health care.
“ACHC is committed to offering a Sleep Accreditation program that facilitates the highest-quality of patient care through a consultative approach that assesses sleep providers based on industry-specific quality standards,” said ACHC Director of DMEPOS, Pharmacy, and Sleep, Timothy Safley, MBA, RRT, RCP. “We are proud to gain acceptance by PacificSource Health Plans and believe the decision will provide sleep centers with the option to choose the accreditation organization that best fits the individual needs of sleep centers and their patients.”
