Growing Patient Volume and High Customer Satisfacti on Ratings Provides Beachhead for Future Expansion

Located at 13457 Atlantic Boulevard, the location was opened in October 2010 by local physician Kay Holmes, MD and former Blue Cross Blue Shield executive Ellen Sullivan – both of whom who applied their experience in the healthcare industry to making the clinic a success. As part of the transaction, the clinic will be rebranded from AFC Doctors Express to American Family Care, which many patients simply refer to as ‘AFC’.

According to ProPublica – an independent, non-profit that tracks important issues of public interest – the typical emergency room visit for patients in Florida hospitals is nearly two-and-a-half hours.
